Mission Statement:
The Congregation of the Dorchester Salem United Methodist Church believes in the power and majesty of the Holy Trinity, Gods supreme gift of salvation, and His beckoning call to each of us. We as a community of faith, exist to praise, honor, and glorify His holy name; to nurture a closer relationship with God for each individual; to provide a creative, supportive fellowship for one another; to reach out into the worldwide community physically, financially, and spirtiually; and to extend the hand of Christian fellowship to anyone who would choose to join us. We humbly acknowledge the need for God's grace and guidance as we strive to follow His way in all we do throughout each day of our lives.
Active Ministries:
Nurture: Christian Education (kids grades 1-12), Adult Bible Study
Outreach: UMCOR, Christmas food boxes at Christmas for local families
